Mohamad Kadan is a PhD student in the Department of History at Rice University. His scholarly work has appeared in Middle East Critique and Interventions. He has also published essays and commentary in Mondoweiss, Al Jazeera English, Middle East Eye, and the Hampton Institute, and writes in Arabic for Romman Cultural Magazine and many others. He is a co-founder of the Edward Said Forum at Tel Aviv University.
